The Level 5 Assistant Practitioner Apprenticeship (Health) provides employers with the opportunity to provide ambitious healthcare staff with a Foundation Degree, alongside a Higher-Level Apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is nationally recognised by healthcare employers and the NHS. Level 5 Assistant Practitioners develop the skills to become autonomous practitioners and are responsible for bringing knowledge and expertise to their workforce.

Cost of the Apprenticeship
If you are an employer with a pay bill of more than £3 million, you’re required to pay the apprenticeship levy. You can manage funds using the apprenticeship service and spend it on training and assessing your apprentices.
