DN Colleges Group announce collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University for Higher Skills
South Yorkshire Colleges Partnership (SYCP) which includes DN Colleges Group, Sheffield College, Barnsley College, and RNN Group, have jointly entered a collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University to tackle regional skills challenges, particularly in the field of Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).
This collaborative initiative, supported by a £1.3 million grant from the Skills Injection Fund, emphasises a unified effort among South Yorkshire colleges and Sheffield Hallam University, which is instrumental in propelling the region’s inclusive growth aspirations.

Providers in South Yorkshire have worked in partnership for many years and built a strong foundation for such an alliance, which this agreement further cements’
The collaborative endeavour, which involves 7,500 employers and serves over 66,000 learners, showcases a united approach that aligns inclusivity with productivity. This joint approach is poised to enhance the skills of the region’s workforce, serving as a driving force behind economic growth and creating expanded opportunities for everyone in the region.
